Doing our culture bit in Amsterdam we visited this museum on our last day. Situated near to the Oude Kirk on the canal this is the most interesting church I have ever visited. Self guided with a very clever audio guide you follow the rooms...More

A friend recommended we visited. Wow - what an experience. Entering from the street you could just not imagine what was being concealed at the top of this building. The audio tour was very informative - the history of the family and how it was...More

I would recommend everyone to visit this place. You will find out how it looked like to live in one of Amsterdam's houses in the 17th century. And also discover one very special church. The story behind it is fascinating.

I will keep it a surprise what this is and why you should go here but when you are on the top floor, look outside across the canal and you will see whales.

An amazing 17th century property with a church in the attic. Amsterdam doesn't fail when it comes to architecture and this is the cherry on the cake! Not to seize the opportunity to visit this museum while here would be unfortunate.
