I've been to the escape room De uitdaging van de Snip together with my colleagues. We were split into two groups, each with 9 persons (one group doing the escape room, the other one waiting in the Poolcentrum and switching when the time was over for the first group). For most of us it was the very first time we were to an escape room. Thus, we had no strategy in the very beginning. However, we got organised relatively quickly. Most of us were searching, one of us was collecting all the hints and two or three (or more, dependent on the situation) were trying to solve the puzzles and get us further on. Snip consists of two rooms (you have to solve the puzzles in the first one to get into the other one). We haven't managed to finish the second room but it was fun anyway. With many escape rooms, it has no sense to go there for the second time if you've already seen it before but this is different with Snip. We went to do both rooms. Nice host who was very helpful. Schobbeler! Schobbeler, a herbal liquor from Tilburg as theme for a room. Authentic room with a good story. Without time limit to complete, something new... A more traditional room with a flow to get to recover the secret recipe. The puzzles are challenging but not difficult and we managed with the two of us to obtain the recipe in 68 minutes (for two people this is considered very fast). The end was a bit sudden but overall a great experience. The Bank A bank... A vault.. Not escaping but breaking in. This room gives a new dimension to the cracking of locks. Aim is to enter a vault after which you have to crack the Lock Boxes of their customers. There is even the option to win real money! And all this without a countdown clock nor hints (hints are given only if you are really stuck which wasn't the case for us). We were with two people but succeeded to steal some money from the vault. An enrichment for the escape room world!…
