Ground floor contained a mixture of old and more recent exhibits related to Breda, including a section on the Treat of Breda. On the floor below was a collection of religious art, digital art and videos (modern art). Without an English guidebook it was difficult...More

The museum had an exhibition of four modern interpretations of Jeroen Bosch's "Tuin der Lusten" (garden of lusts), which were engaging and excellent, besides their standard of exhibition. Useful and informative, suitable for children.

We were @breda for the weekend and found this museum. Really interesting work! there are some videos, possibility to do a VR experience; All texts aren't translated into English but it was not a blocking point for us as the art is good :-)

This museum has an English name, but don't get fooled into thinking it is geared towards an international public. Most written texts with works of art are only in Dutch. That should be fixed! Then the art work itself is a beauty for the eye,...More

Fantastic exhibit featuring four Dutch contemporary artists. Thoughtful and provocative. Their permanent collection has a focus on digital media which is very interesting.

We did enjoy our visit. We were welcomed warmly and enthusiastically on entrance and given an explanation of what we were to see. The trouble was that with no English in the curation it became almost completely incomprehensible and bordering on the wacky. We simply...More

Great art, beautiful building. But take your time, like a whole afternoon. Easy to reach by foot from Breda station if you do not mind a 5-10 minute walk. Or get in a bus that stops at 'Vlaszak'.
