Absolutely love this forest park. Love to climb the tower to look all over Apeldoorn. Also the hiking routes are really nice! Doesn't necessarily have to be sunny weather as long as it doesn't rain to have a good time.

This is a cute park, but if you're tight on time, can be skipped. It's just a park with a small lake and a nice restaurant overlooking it.

For a tour around the lake, you get the feeling you are abroad. You can also take a longer, very nice hike through the woods in Berg en Bos.

We like the tower you can climb. It gives a nice view over Apeldoorn. The park itself is not that big but nice.

We actually intended to visit Apenheul, but instead only had lunch and a nice walk through Park Berg en Bos. The fishpond is teeming with huge fish!

The park Berg en Bos itself has no entrance fee - after the renovation of the park, a few years ago, the entrance-fee was set to 0.00! If you want to go to Apenheul, the monkeypark in the Berg en Bos area you will have to... More
