We came for a short time to experience a modern, „state of the art“ designed new park.

Several nice colorful plants - great for relaxation in the heart of vibrant Zurich.

This is one of our go-to parks in Zurich for a little stroll, a brief lunch/dinner break with our own take out, for some sun, and even for a quick ride on the seesaw.
As it’s still a very young park, the trees still require time to provide any shade.
A couple of observations we just didn’t like is when dogs do their job in the grass (owners don’t always clean up), as well as when dog owners allow their pets to go into the fountain, sometimes even cleaning them.

Pfingstweid Park is located in Zurich West area and can be accessed with Tram #4 to the Technopark stop. There are many things within the park that will keep the kids busy. There is the garden area, a new outdoor art space, seating area around the park as well as a large green space. Skateboarders have some small courses to run, there are swings, slides, a mini fussball field, park benches and even a few Grill stations.

A water fountain is at the center of the park and free, clean toilets are available for visitors to the park.

Most parks are flat - 2D... but this one has depth and features that help you to escape the rest of PrimeTower land... literally submerge. love the way the walls have an edgy touch... a bit rough with bits edged into them to promote wild growth (well that is what i think). Enough space for the kids too and plenty to help them play, run, discover & slide... Like i said it is 3D!
