This museum, although small, has some wonderful exhibitions. They also supply headphones so that you can learn even more about the different world of art. Well worth visiting.

You won't find here the same pieces as in the Louvre, National Gallery or Metropolitan Museum. However, it is worth a climb from the center of town, it has the feel of a private home ( which it used to be), and the quality of...More

Before I made the trek uphill to the museum I checked their website for their hours. Yet when I got there it was locked up tight. The views of the lake and Lausanne from there are gorgeous but that is not why I went up....More

Beautiful intimate setting, stunning paintings in a lovely villa on top of the hill in a stunning park. Worth a visit but not very car friendly.

Great museum. The paintings and the expositions are spectacular. The Fondation de l’Hermitage has a warm atmosphere with the surrounding gardens and its view. The only bad thing, there is no translation in the paintings description, all French.
