Really good, even if you're not interested in sports
I'm not much interested in sports. But I have to admit that this is a perfectly presented museum. Especially the history of the olympics is very cool. The videos are great and even I had goosebumps. The anime-section was nice. They have a lot of interactive games for children. Restaurant seemed nice and they had some japanese dishes regarding the upcoming olympics. All in all I can recomment this museum.

Lausanne is the centre of the olympic movement
Great experience and really makes you feel like you’ve been missing out with Covid cancelling the 2020 olympics. Great memorabilia with sports outfits and gear signed from the actual Olympians themselves

Great video of medal ceremonies which really gets you emotional and a real show of progress when you see how bobsleighs and other equipment has changed throughout the Olympic era.

Every gold silver and bronze medal is also presented so you can see how they’ve changed and the Tokyo ones were there for a sneak preview.

Great experience and in a fabulous location on Lake Geneva.

Interactive museum - great for children

Amazing museum that shows the olympic spirit !
I would recommend a visit if you're in the area, its content is adapted for adults and children (which isn't always the case in the Swiss museums we visited).
The museum is set in beautiful gardens and you can enjoy a coffee with a 180° view of the lake in their museum coffee shop.

This is one of the best museums in Lausanne. It present the history of the olympic games but also contemporary games that for sure will fascinate you. The tour is very well done and the COVID measurements will make you feel safe.

Lovely museum
Jul 2020 • Couples
If you are a fan of the Olympics this is a must see. I loved it. What a beautiful location. There is a section on the history of the games. Then so many uniforms and equipment used by the athletes throughout the years. I really liked the exhibit where you could scroll through each Olympics and see photos or video clips about the time and the games. Some of the interactive things were closed (due to covid), but I definitely enjoyed my visit.
They give you discount coupons for the store and cafe as well.
