We choose a clear day to come here and we weren't disappointed. We arrived at Lautebrunen by train and took the cable car up to Gritschalp, instead of taking the train to Murren we took the easy 1hr hike giving great views of the area...More

Overall I enjoyed the trip to the Schilthorn. The views were great even though it was party cloudy. I also enjoyed having lunch in the revolving restaurant. The only things that spoiled this trip was the fact that on the day I went (06/08/18) there...More

Must visit this place. Make it a separate excursion because it takes most of the day for the round trip. Amazing Swiss engineering marvel to get people up to this location. Lots to do and see of course. Definitely worth while.

Today we travelled to Schilthorn, with a million others, from Interlaken Ost. The journey takes time, for us, approximately 2 hours, and involves waiting, & many changes from trains to cable cars which are packed. All that said, we loved the experience, visiting James Bond...More

Brilliant trip. We got to the top at 9am for clear views of Jungfrau, Mönch and Eiger. The 007 interactive “behind the scenes” exhibition kept us all interested (including our 7 year old daughter who didn’t even know who James Bond was before we went)....More

The Schilthorn is packed with people even in the summer because of the view. However they use a James Bond theme everywhere on the peak as one of the old James Bond films (On Her Majesty Secret Service) was filmed here and it sounds so...More

We decided to splurge on the breakfast buffet at the Piz Gloria revolving "James Bond" restaurant. There was a large buffet with a lot of selections, but the food was nothing special. It was the view while the restaurant revolved revealing amazing mountain views that...More

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Switzerland. And being free with a Swiss pass, it's a no-brainer. The views are unforgettable and breathtaking! Pictures don't do it justice.
