Icy air streams across your face, snow crunches under your feet, and the view nearly takes your breath away: on one side the view of the Mittelland up to the Vosges, on the other the Aletsch glacier, bordered by four thousand metre peaks. Standing on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 metres above sea level, you can feel it with your first step: this is a different world. It's one you have to experience.

A summer retreat and an engineering marvel. Once the train journey starts, there is a surprise at every minute. A lovely place and a must visit summer retreat.

It's really amazing that train can go up to 3000 meters! The views were amazing, especially snowy peaks of the mountains. At the top we had a wonderful meal admiring the panorama outside. Definitely recommend it.

Visited Jungfraujoch on 12th May 2018. It is the highest point in Europe at 11,333 feet above the mean sea level. The cogwheel trains climbing at a 45 degree angle are an engineering marvel and take you to the top. The view of the snow...More

This place is much over hyped and over priced. Only different experience you get is the train ride on a very steep slop. This place also has less snow compared to Mt Titlis. So, if you are really planning for a trip to this place,...More

We departed from the train station at Grindelwald on this journey. 2 trains are required to reach the summit. The engineering feat is a marvel. Check the weather before choosing a day to travel, and go only when it is sunny on the mountaintop. Otherwise,...More

The peak is beautiful but better than the view it is the approach and the way to the peak . The authorities have really put in great connectivity of public transport for us to get to the place . There is a tour marked once...More

One of the iconic sights of the country, Jungfraujoch is high on effort & expense! However, the sights are worth it - a unique railway journey to a snow-clad mountain, an ice palace on top, superb views on the way et al.

I wish we had longer time to explore the place. The train ride towards the top of the mountain is breath taking and worth every penny spent as it was a bit more pricey than others. The rides were very well organised and you can...More

Mount Jungfraujoch happens to be at an altitude of 11,782 feet above mean sea level & it is the top most peak which is accessible to the tourists. From Interlaken OST, the train to Mount Jungfraujoch takes you via Grindelwald & Wengen to reach the...More

If you are planning to visit on a clear sunny day, a hoodie or a light jacket is appropriate since it doesn’t really feel that cold. However a wind cheater or similar is recommended if the weather turns cloudy or windy. I... More
