A great place to spend a whole rainy day with the family.

On the one hand, the exhibition invites you to explore the historical background of games, from the technology that enables motion games to valuable information about game addiction and how to deal with it. Even though we don't have much to do with consoles or screen games ourselves, we really enjoyed the visit.

On the lower floor there is a café with hot food, snacks and sweets as well as full-fledged menus. We tried four different dishes – all to the satisfaction of the whole family, and there are also vegan and vegetarian options.

Another highlight: You can try up to 900 games and be friendly and trained by the staff. Especially handy for those we don't necessarily like to read instructions.

Our tip: If possible, go during the week! So you have much more space to enjoy everything in peace.

The cheerful staff completes the experience perfectly. That’s why we’ll give the full score with a clear conscience – we’ll definitely be back!

Many greetings from Basel!

Absolutely excellent!

We visited here with a 9 year old as something to entertain him amongst the day of sight seeing.

This place is fantastic!

Great price for the expanse of games, when you pay your entry ticket all games are free…two hour time slot.

I spent some time on the nostalgic Nintendo.

We went Saturday lunchtime and I was really pleased with the amount of people,..not overcrowded at all.

We finished our visit with a beer (great gaming related labels!) and a board game of which there are many to choose from.

I would highly recommend this place for the value, the availability and choice of games, the atmosphere and friendliness of staff.

Great Indoor activity for bad weather days. Pay for playing retro game machines or just sit in the game cafe for free. They're also tolerant if you're one Person more than on the Reservation.

The visit to the Gameorama at our team event was a complete success! The tour of the museum was entertaining and offered many exciting insights. And then everyone was at the game and took advantage of the incredibly diverse offer until the last second:-) We are thrilled!

We discovered the Gamorama by chance on the Internet and visited Today for two. We had a lot of fun, especially the old consoles were interesting, as were pinball machines and classic wooden games. The two hours passed like in flight so that we sat down afterwards in the board game Café. There we played one or the other board game. There were more interesting board games than we had time on site, so it would be worth it for us alone to come back here. Unfortunately, Lucerne is not exactly around the corner for us either.

The only thing we found a bit unfortunate that there were no zero/sugar-free drinks, so my friend, who is diabetic, did not exactly have a large selection of drinks. We then had to stay with water. Vivi Kola is also available as a zero variant;-)

Amazing place!paradise for people who love retro arcade games and vintage video games or just play in general.
Loved every minute of being there.
There is an amazing collection of pinball machine from vintage to prototype cyber. Could have spent a day alone with the pinballs.
Lots of board games too.

Worked for all age groups.
Staff very nice and patient with the kids and kids are allowed to play everything. Location central too.
We spend time waiting for our slot in the natural history museum - so best of both worlds.

I, as a 10 year old daughter really enjoyed spending some time with my father here! Upstairs there is a game room, and downstairs there is a lounge with a lot of board games! I really enjoyed playing there hours with my father while enjoying a tasty snack! Even if I am not such a videogame fan, I still really enjoyed this experience! If you come to Lucerne some day, and you love video games or board games, this is the right place for you to be! Even if you are not a videogame fan or board game fan, this place can still be very fun!

We were there for our team outing with 14 people. It's a great location that has something to offer everyone.
We started with an aperitif and a few card games. Then we went to the museum to play pinball, darts, old games consoles and of course Pac-Man.
It wasn't the last time I was there. I'll be back. 😎

I have been to Gameorama several times and it was always great. Now at the new location I perhaps had too high expectations. Unfortunately, quite a few devices didn't work or didn't work properly. The lighting in the display cases wasn't on and the front cover rails were coming off where I was wearing the VR glasses. I will definitely come back and hope that all the devices will work again and that the charm of the old location will return to the new location. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing for me today, even though I traveled all the way from Thurgau.
All the best in your new location anyway and see you next time...

Very cool museum that lets every heart beat faster, from young kids to the older generations, for once, even your teenager will love it :-)... there's something for everybody...
You can also have a drink in the cafe and instead of reading a newspaper just play a board game - much fun & great idea!
