The jet of water is ok for a 5 minute look and photo opportunity, but I wasn’t amazed by it. Something different and if you’re near it, go for it. It’s close to the centre anyway. I viewed it from the opposite side, furthest away,...More

If you go to Geneva, this is a must see tourist attraction, View it from the other side of the lake then walk round or get a boat across for a close-up view.

The Jet d'Eau was an excellent sight to see. It was good to get views from both sides of the lake. It is an easy walk from the old city. Well worth the time to check in out.

It's amazing to see from above and to walk to it. It's worth taking either the boat to get there or to walk all the way there in a good sunny day. It's a beautiful scenery for pictures and for a relaxing spot with friends...More

Its nice for a city to have a symbol, but this one seems pretty weak to me. Yeah, they have a high jet of water. Big Deal.

The jet d'eau is not always on if the weather is bad but when it is it's lovely. You can walk pretty close and get wet with spray. Also you can download the app and see it whenever you want which is brill!!

It is hard to miss the Jet d'Eau if you are anywhere in downtown Geneva. There are plenty of places to see it from and to get photos of it. That being said it is not my favorite sight in Geneva.

All during the day, this jet serves as a magnet, giving bearing to walkers. It's pretty amazing how high this thing shoots up.

You can see Jet d'Eau from almost any place in the city as it is located right at the lake in the very centre of Geneva. It is an amazing sight from afar and even more so close up. You really can’t miss the opportunity...More

Yes, only closed in high wind to avoid spray drift. 💨💦
