If you get in the correct angle with the sun, there is a terrific rainbow in the falling water. a great sight that is view-able from great distances.

Nothing very special I don't get why this is THE view of Geneva , if you ever seem to have lost it apparently it doesn't turn on very early (I made that mistake )

Just overrated in my view. Just a jet of water and that is all about it. Just think it does not seem to blend in with the surrounding.

Wasn't working on 2 of the 3 days we were in Geneva. Probably due to sub zero temperatures and snow, but when it was on its certainly impressive. If your staying in a Geneva hotel you will get a travel pass that includes the water...More

My son lives here so we came for a few days. Beautiful setting and stunning views. You can catch the yellow boat taxi across the lake from here too.

The Jet d'Eau is a must go for visitors to Geneva. It juts out in to the lake and in summers especially getting drenched by the spray is a lovely experience.

I did the public boat trip that goes right near the jet d'eau. It's cool but in my opinion overrated.

No wonder it became Geneva's best known feature. Absolutely worth a visit. Started as a necessary pressure release feature and became a tourist attraction thereafter.
