I found it very interesting as it reflects the old life of people of Geneve. Personally, it is one of the most interesting sites I have visited in Geneva

My teen daughters and I stumbled upon after visiting the cathedral. We didn’t know it existed but are so glad we went in. It was a nice slice of history, free and kept us dry on a rainy afternoon. I’m not sure I’d go out...More

Like the title says, I didn't expect. It's free, so that's convenient. No line ups. This is the first house built in Geneva. They have kept original furniture. It's absolutely beautiful.

Interesting example of Swiss life. Only one floor has furnished rooms. The other floors have exhibits. It's worth a visit since it's free. Don't know that I would pay for it.

I enjoy history so the Tavel House was right up my alley. They have a lot of interesting artifacts. Free entrance so a great visit for about 1 to 2 hours.

It’s a nice old mansion you can walk through. My favorite thing was the HUGE model of the city of Geneva as it looked in 1850, complete with moats and ramparts. You’ll have to climb to the attic to see it.

Admission is free. There are rooms set out like in 18th & 19th century. There's also a fabulous model of Geneva on the upper floor.

A must see it you want to have an idea about Geneva's history. On the last floor, under the roof, there is an amazing full 3D wooden model of Geneva during the middle age. Can also see some pictures about the transformation of the city....More

This is a nice, free museum to visit for a look at the history of Geneva. The exhibitions are interesting especially the models of the city. The main exhibition information is in French
