The Cathedral is an appealing part of the city skyline but when we visited it was being set up as s venue for an art display so we didn’t stay long.

The munster is beautiful from to see, that’s for sure, but the real highlight is the possibility to climb all the way up to the end of the castle. Don’t miss it.

This is a must see in Basel and the plaza out back is not to be missed. I loved the setting in the ancient yet lived in square.

Yes, its 2 SFR pp. But sometimes they only let a minimum of 4 people go up. Why? Haven't a clue.

Yes, it is free to tour, I didn't climb the tower, but the church and grounds are free.
