This cathedral is beautiful, inside and out, and located on a lovely square in Basel. At the time of my visit, a Christmas Market was being held on the square, which made my visit even more special and festive. A must-see!

The cathedral is lovely. At the end of my river cruise found out that there was a free organ concert in the cathedral. The acoustics were wonderful and the two organ players were amazing.

We visited for Christmas Eve carols with the town band in the Munster square. There had just been a concert with local youth. It's a very traditional place with a Christmas Market in the square.

The church is stunning and the surrounding area is very quaint. It is a very picturesque walk from the city center up the hill to the church.

Climbing to thr top of the tower is a must if you are ok with narrow and small spaces. The view of the rhine from the top of the tower is well worth it.

A tour of Europe must include a visit to its many cathedrals as they often encompass the history of the city and the region. A magnificent example!

Yes, its 2 SFR pp. But sometimes they only let a minimum of 4 people go up. Why? Haven't a clue.

Yes, it is free to tour, I didn't climb the tower, but the church and grounds are free.
