Nice area. Closest thing to open European markets I experienced in Basel. Lots of people so it is nice to sit and people watch for a bit and take in the culture.

We enjoyed walking through the public market seeing all the crafts, produce, sausages and cheeses. Since we were traveling we didn't but any of their delicious looking sausages.

Great find on a day out. Really enjoyed seeing all the different foods. Great Jamaican place with jerk chicken and the nicest rice I've ever tried! Well done!

We stayed nearby and happened upon this wonderful open market. It had stalls of fresh flowers, cheeses and vegetables. Another vendor was making fresh risotto. It was a great experience.
