About
One of the most spectacular and challenging golf courses in Italy, the 18 hole at Antognolla feature long, cliff-lined fairways, beautiful water hazards and large, undulating greens. Conceived by renowned designer Robert Trent Jones Junior, the clever layout makes Antognolla an exciting and satisfying course for golfers of all abilities. The team at RTJII have carefully guided the improvements to the course as part of a significant investment in irrigation systems, total bunker renovation programme, tee resurfacing, introduction of unirrigated native fescue areas, expanded new driving range and substantial drainage to ensure all year-round playability. In addition to the 18 hole golf course, Antognolla Golf has a new driving range, a practice putting green and a well-stocked golf shop. We offer high quality rental clubs, a fleet of golf carts, electric trolleys and ‘golf boards’ as well as PGA Instruction. "Italy's Best Golf Course" at World Golf Awards 2020 and 2022.

What a course. In the middle of the Umbrian hills, this delightful golf course offers even the best golfer a real challenge. The 8th hole is magnificent

My son and I played with a superb member today, the course was in exceptionally good condition.
From collecting the hire clubs and cart, to lunch after the game and also the welcoming people and experience was great.
The course is a very good test of anyones golf - the views of the castle are stunning- as a pay and play it’s quite expensive- however it’s totally worth every penny/dime/cent- do not miss! We will

I love the Antognolla golf course in every season. It is a challenging test of golf but good scores are possible. I feel fortunate everytime I step onto this course. The course is alwasy in excellent condition and is aesthetically stunning.
What adds to the experience are the friendly staff in reception, the assistance from the caddymasters who have to be two of the loveliest men I have met, the delicious food in the restaurant and the backdrop of the spectacular Antognolla castle. I can't wait to return.

A beautiful round of golf. The weather, the course and the staff were all on Par! We arrived at the course early (40 min,) to ready for the round and we were met immediately by the golf staff (Joseph) which had the rental clubs on the cart and quickly headed us off to the round to hit some balls and get to know the clubs (new) we would be playing. The practice range was great as the pictures on this site depict. Off to the Pro Shop to pick up a few things and on to the Tee. The staff escorted us to the first tee and reviewed the course and a few tips on a couple of the holes, and we were off! The course was fun and in great shape with the greens running true. We had to stop often take in the sights of the castle on the hill and the course. The castle is under renovation at the moment, which had no effect on the golf, and when completed I can imagine it being a true golf resort to visit. But don't get me wrong, it's a great place to play now!

I have played Antognolla more than a dozen times over the years and I recommend it highly.
In fact it has improved significantly over the past 2 - 3 years and there has been a huge investment in the facilities.
The course is in great condition, fairways, tees and bunkers have been well maintained and the greens are fantastic.
The setting is amazing situated in the hills above Perugia.
There are one or 2 very challenging holes in particular the horse shoe shaped par 5 7th hole (the best golf hole I have ever played) and the 18th with water on the right and behind the green.
The clubhouse facilities are excellent with a locker room and restaurant and if you hire a buggy/golf cart you are greeted by a ‘caddy master’ and supplied with water etc
Amazingly we played on a day when a rainstorm was expected and the lovely lady in reception said we should pay at the end of our round in case our round was cut short by bad weather can you ever imagine that being said in the U.K. ?!
Cost was E 75 for the round and E40 for a golf cart
I can’t wait to get back there next year !

We spent two weeks at the A tog Lola estate this summer and played a number of rounds at the course. The conditions are excellent and the service from the staff superb!

I played 9 holes last Sunday. The course was in excellent condition and there was little sign of the heavy rain the previous day. The greens were quick and true and this course just gets better and better. I can’t wait to play again and this course is another reason to visit Umbria

We arrived and the castle and course were surrounded by mist. It soon disappeared and we were able to appreciate the beauty of this course. It is unique.

Extreamly beatiful, somewhat challenging court, very good service. Not that crouded at all. Also the lunch was good albeit staff still finding their place.

My wife and I met near Antognolla and we are planning an anniversary celebration playing golf at your course later this year. Is bringing our own wine or beer allowed on the course or do we need to purchase at the clubhouse? Thank you. Looking forward to enjoying your hospitality later on this year.
