Great place to visit, really off the tourist trail. Museum is interesting. You must climb the 120 steps up to the top of the tower as the views are amazing.

We based in Empoli and caught the bus to Vinci for the day today in order to visit Museo Leonardiano. With mixed reviews, we weren't quite sure what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. Not too expensive at E20 for a family ticket. We...More

After trips to Rome and Florence it was so nice to visit a calmer and quieter place. The museum app is a must to download. The exhibits are predominantly in Italian only and the app provided the much needed detail to the exhibits. The entry...More

You can not touch nothing. It is definitely waste of money. The audio guide is with very low volume and not according to the museum's exhibits. Since it is located in Vinci, and there is nothing to do in this town, it is totally waste...More

I am fascinated by Leonardo da Vinci’s creations. He was one the foremost creative minds, amazingly far ahead of his time. This museum takes all that, has recreations from his drawings, which you CANNOT TOUCH, with video animations of many of them. All wall text...More
