This church / museum isn't just full of the usual renaissance art but full of amazing and spectacular frescoes. There are a number of intetesting cloisters and side chapels. As this church isn't at the centre of historical Florence it wasn't too crowded. Well worth...More

When the guidebook said 463 steps to the top I wasn't thrilled but the views over the city were so well worth the effort. Absolutely breathtaking 360' of the city and Tuscany!

The basilica is located right next to the Firenze station. A 15th century church can be visited if we have time to spare in florence.

The church itself is worth the time and effort to go. It is a historical monument of enormous importance. The frescoes and other art are of the highest order. My family and I go several times each year when we are in Florence
