What a fun evening making spaghetti with sauce, bruschetta and tiramisu. We all had a hand in it and most of us had never made pasta from scratch before. Wine was also served and we all had a deicious meal while learning.

Went as part of a tour group. Evening host is a teaching chef. She guided us through the creation of our own dinner. Lots of fun and laughter (particularly when the wine came out!). Would only apply to a group, but a definite recommend.

San Marco
The pleasant atmosphere of this residential area, a
stone’s throw away from the Duomo of Florence,
surprises everyone. A continuous flow of backpacking
students provides the tranquil surroundings for the
elderly residents who sit in Piazza San Marco to read
the daily newspaper. Home to several universities,
including the Academy of Fine Arts, San Marco is one
of the most vibrant cultural centers in the city. A
