I, unwisely, bought my tickets through a website ‘Florence Museums’ - beware, they charge almost double what the ticket price should be. The entrance fee is E20. That said, it is an amazing museum, filled with glorious paintings and statues. Breathtaking is one word to...More

The Uffizi houses epic masterpieces, all from Florence. Get a historic tour of the building, owned for years by the Medici family, later transferred by the family’s last heir to the public viewing of these artists’ master works. Upstairs you will experience the first true...More

Second visit. Loved it even though my knowledge of art is limited. Exhibits arranged in chronological order so you see the development of techniques. Too much for one visit, you need to be selective, it’s exhausting! The building itself is interesting with good views. Make...More

Tracing the development of art during the early and high renaissance. The galleries are well laid out and in spit of the crowds it was easy to see the paintings.

Way too crowded. Not a good flow of crowds. Tour groups are so annoying and only do what they want to do.
