We were in Florence for the day and there are 414 steps and the steps are very small so be careful not to miss one. We went in the summer in August and it was 40 degrees Celsius yes very hot and humid. We waited...More

Torre di Arnolfo of the Palazzo Vecchio was named after its architect, Arnolfo di Cambio and has become a familiar symbol of Florence recognized my many. Unfortunately, it was closed on May 1st (public holiday) when we visited Florence, but I can only imagine the...More

Been there with friends, we were two couples. We took a private tour with a guide, and he added one more couple to us. It worth the extra few euros. The palace is really amazing and after listening to the guide and know all the...More

We had to wait 50 minutes to get to climb this tower, but the wait was totally worth it. If the Duomo is the iconic image of Firenze, then obviously the one place you cabn't see it is from the Duomo. From this tower, on...More

Well worth the climb for great views of Florence. Only drawback is if it is raining the tower portion is closed but the terrace will still be open. The top of the tower allows unobstructed views of Florence. This tower is great for photography.

10€ entry, go to the top and enjoy the view, photographers might also like the roof you access on the way down from the top (they don’t let you there on the way up) as you find many holes in the walls where your lens...More

than Giotto’s Campanile. Towering over Palazzo Vecchio, it provides great views over Florence. Entrance to the tower is inside Palazzo Vecchio, it is free with the Firenze card so I do not know the cost to climb. Nevertheless, well worth the trek to the top.

The Tower is the best thing Palazzo Vecchio has. Queue is long (as any other attraction in Italy) but it is a great plan to do on a Saturday morning. However, the ticket is a little bit expensive (10€). But, anyways, Italy is expensive on...More

Amongst so much beauty in Florence, this tower pales to those in the Duomo, yet, it's handy as a way marker when wandering further afield. A fitting piece in already amazing Piazza (della Signoria)
