Nice bar!
Aug 2021 • Couples
Really nice bar in the middle of Taormina! Nice drinks and good service. If you’re into spritz please try their Campari Spritz, a bit more sour that Aperol👌
And if you like prosecco- try the sicilian Jolie👍!
If like stout they got one for you to!
So, If you’re in Taormina please pay them a visit👌

If two people go in both must order something. Will not serve just one. Cappuccino is ok and 4 euros.

Worse service in Sicily
Aug 2019 • Family
Don’t go to this place, they definitely need to train the staff to be polite at least. First, the waitress didn’t bring the menu and when asked for one she looked at us like we wanted something from the moon. When she finally brought the menus she said they don’t serve coffee. In a cafe, they don’t serve coffee. When asked how this can be possible she simply violently took the menus from our hands, almost destroying our camera. So rude...when you have 3 tables in the street you don’t behave like this. Simply avoid this place if you don’t want to ruin your day and good mood.

This place is very expensive and totally not worth it. Cappuccino is 4 eur and bruscetta is tiny. The waiter isnt very friendly. Unfortunately I didn't look at the rating before going here.

One tea bag-not two cups of tea!
Oct 2016 • Couples
We are staying around the corner and have passed this small cafe a couple times. Nice music. Nice menu. So tonight we stopped in and had a glass of wine and a cup of tea (not a pot). We also ordered two main salads (very good) and shared bruschetta (not traditional and only average).

My husband asked for some additional hot water in his existing tea cup. She brought back a small pitcher (same little creamer used for milk in the morning). We didn't know that she would charge us 2 Euro for hot water! This is on top of the 4 Euro original tea bag. Everything else is normal (albeit tourist) pricing. We questioned the charge and she said "you had 2 cups of tea." Note we had only the original tea bag.

We gave her an opportunity to correct the over charge but she didn't. Stupid, greedy and short sighted. Don't patronize them. There are so many other places to have a drink, snack or dinner.

Expensive and not like you expected

Ok bar looks clean and nice so we have decided to take a break for drink and some snacks. We ordered mousse cocktails and bruschetta. Drinks were good I like them. Before drinks we have got something to eat and that was joke. We ordered bruschetta for €4.50 and this was worth max 50c. Seriously this was worst bruschetta we have ever ate. One tiny slice of bread spliced for two with some tomatoes and olives. Something like this I can make in home in 1 min. We have got much much better bruschetta for free before main dish in others restaurant. That one wasn't close to Sicilian style. Really not worth to order food there.

Wine watching the world go by
Oct 2015
We had had such a large and late lunch, we decided we couldn't face an evening meal, opting to have a glass or two of wine in a wine bar instead.
We were very pleased with our choice as we ended up sharing a bottle of very chilled white wine, while watching the world go by. Our outside table was ideal and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Espresso for 2 Euro?
Jul 2015 • Friends
Avoid this bar: the food is not good, coffee is lame, and it turns out to be a rip-off when you ask for the bill. I am not sure if I have been lucky so far, but for the first time in six years in Italy, I paid 2 Euros for an espresso at this bar. The barmaid is rude as well.
