Down on the water, Cala Mazzaro is one blue-green spot, with transparent water, surrounded by a number of hotels. There is a free beach that can be reached through a flight of stairs from the SS114 road.

There is a small free area, where you can sit for free and use your own towels. There are 2 Beach Clubs, where you pay 10 Euros per day per person for a chair and parasol. Totally worth it.

Now the Grand Hotel Mazzarò Sea Palace is the best in Taormina. The best view, the best beach, the best food and the best rooms with balcony or private pool facing the sea. The restaurant is excellent. The best location in front of the funicular...More

We stayed at a hotel right on this beat which has a variety of qualities of beach sun loungers, which are quite expensive, but worth it. There are a couple of bars and a coupe of restaurants, and you can also take a trip on...More

We spent an afternoon on this beach, but ended up spending the next two days at Isola Bella as it was more picturesque with bluer, calmer waters. This lido does offer a €5 discount on sun loungers later in the day, but I'd recommend the...More

We had a wonderful day at this beach. We rented chairs and the service was excellent. We went on a boat cruise that we rented off the beach. It was a blast! Drinks and food were very good.
