This tour may appear to be a little more expensive than other similar ones on offer, but if you have the time it is excellent value for money. We caught an early bus when it was quiet and went round the red (main) route twice to view all the sights from different angles. Later we used the blue route and saw even more.

Typical of these double-decker bus hop on/off city tours, this is an economical way to reach many of the main attractions and get familiar with the layout of Palermo. The convenience of a bus every 30 minutes and the hop on/off can't be overstated.

This route comprises of two routes with the additional one trip to Monreale. The former two are €20 per person per day and the additional Monreale an extra €5. The routes on Sunday’s differ a bit from the map. Don’t be surprised that the blue route, which starts at 12h00 might miss stop 7. They are supposed to run every 30 minutes, which by luck may happen.
