Via Etna runs for about 2 kilometres and is the main shopping street of the city. Lots of chain stores , restaurants and cafes to keep you occupied.

Similar to many main streets as you find in any city or town everywere, but here it is much less attractive, Still if you have nothing to do you can take a walk.

A nice street with a lot of shops and ice cafes. A few of the shops are worth to enter but it was not really an exciting experience.

A rather evocative name but really its the Regent/Oxford street of Catania with lots of retail therapy options - although it does have the Piazza for the University and joins the Fonataine dell Ellefante.

The main shopping street but significantly improved over most by the view of Etna at the end of it. As well as shops there are also some beautiful Sicilian baroque buildings.

Look for the large blue “P” signs which indicate a garage or a parking lot. Most are located off of side streets. I would suggest you use google maps to find one, which is what we did. We went off Corso Italia to locate... More
