We loved our day with Loredana in Catania. We started in the market with a great tour and spent time to buy all of our supplies. Loredana took our input and we added a few things to the menu that we all wanted to try, like an assortment of mixed greens and artichokes. The cooking school is a beautiful and stylish space and once we were there, it was so fun to learn the different recipes, drink delicious wine, snack on meat and cheese, and have great conversations! We all got to help out a lot and I felt really confident to make the recipes once we got home! This is a great option if you want to take a cooking class and I could not recommend Loredana more! She is very kind and was super easy to be in touch with.

This cooking class was the highlight of our stay in the Catania area. Loredana was incredibly an amazing Chef and the cooking class including the market tour was wonderful. The class was hands on and included a history of the dishes. We were able to pick the dishes before we got to Italy and Loredana ensured that the the dishes were 100% nut free, as we advised of allergy. Loredana also emailed us the recipes so that we could make everything again in our own. I would definitely do it again when I return to Sicily.

While our husbands decide to golf, my friend and I signed up for cooking class with Myda Cooking School. Believe me, they were so bummed they didn't come with us! Prior to coming to Sicily, Chef Loredana sent us a list of dishes so that we could choose what we would like to learn to make. It seriously took us hours to decide - everything looked sooo good! When we met the Chef, she took us though the local markets where we bought all of our ingredients fresh from local vendors. We then walked to her cooking school which was extremely nice, clean and professional. Loredana was so friendly and a fantastic teacher. Her brother was there helping and her mom popped in too which was so nice and made the experience so personal. Not only did we just make the meal but she picked up local cheeses for us to try. This was seriously one of the best meals we had on our trip. She gave us all of the recipes and to me the true test of a good cooking school is if you can actually make the dishes again at home. I have made the tomato sauce, pesto sauce, homemade pasta and the chicken rolled with cheese and prosciutto and none were difficult and all were fantastic. My family would agree!! I am dying to go back to Sicily just to learn how to cook some more dishes! Thank you Loredana!!

My partner and I were looking for a traditional Sicilian cooking lesson in Catania. We booked a private lesson with Loredana with a focus on pasta dishes. We agreed the three dishes and booked the lesson via email, a very simple process. The school itself is well equipped, spotlessly clean and air conditioned. Refreshments and light snacks were provided. Loredana is a fantastic teacher, giving clear guidance and ensuring the lesson was hands on, maximising what we could take away from it. I felt confident afterwards, that I could tackle the pasta dishes and picked up plenty of tips that would otherwise be missed from a cookbook! Loredana was very engaging personally and I thoroughly enjoyed the day, especially eating the end product! I would recommend her class to anyone thinking of cooking lessons in Sicily.
