Must-see in Sicily. The whole area is fantastic! I'd highly recommend to take a guided tour there, there is a lot information about the volcano and area around. A great place where you immediately understand the greatness of nature. Pictures are also great!

Wow, to go to an active volcano in Sicily!

A dream for anyone interested in earth sciences. Mt. Etna erupted in 1944 just as US and British troops were driving the Germans off the island of Sicily!

Wonderful experience

If you are planning to visit Etna make sure you go to the top either walking or by cable car. When we were there, cable car wasn't working and we had to go to the top by bus which took much longer than a cable car and we had less time on the top. However, the views are breath-taking.

Amazing experience and spectacular views.

Visiting Mount Etna is like travelling to Mars...a really interesting experience. It can be quite cold at the top and the oxygen is thin, so it is an effort, but well worth it.

The one and only

This is a must have experience! Extremely well organized, we went on our own, got there early in the morning, there was enough space to park the car. We opted for the cable car, then we went by the big cars and had the tour, in about 3h we were done with it all. Would not recommend the 7D cinema, it is not worth it.

Massive!

What a spectacular feeling to be close to an active volcano. The Etna is so huge that you feel very small as human. It's excited only to know there is so much activity below your feed of lava and rock! I will never foget this!!
