We came expecting to see good artwork but were amazed by the depth of the frescoes and history of the villa. A short walk from Bob and Jenny's B&B where we stayed and near La Rotonda too. You don't need to be an art enthusiast...More

What a gem this house is. Much more appealing than La Rotonda down the road. The garden is a real plus, also unlike Rotonda.

More to see than Rotonda. Great gardens and views around the hills. Management was much friendlier than Rotonda. 10 euros a person and accepts credit card. Parking is a synch.

It was a lovely walk up to the house. Just amazing frescoes and paintings and great gardens and views. Nani means dwarf of which there are a large number on the walls. Nice little cafe. Very refreshing

Recommended by owner of Casa Barbieri Country House were we stayed. Fantastic to experience the quality of the frescoes, and also the walk up there was very nice. And loved the dwarves and the story behind them.

Always Staying in hotels along your journey can be somewhat boring. The villas present something different. The very top apartment has plenty of space with complete kitchen facilities. The beds look suspect, but were extremely comfy. The bathrooms are impeccable with great showers. The views...More
