This is a lovely quiet neighbourhood, ideal for lunch and a stop for the hop-on/off bus. I returned to it again!

The church is located slightly off the heart of the old town in Verona, but it's worth taking the detour and exploring San Zeno and its cloisters. It's a big church with many historical works of art and a crypt famed for the supposed marriage...More

Small church restored, very simple interior, not a typical Catholic Church with gold, ornaments and designs. But has large paintings

We visited the Basilica di San Zeno which was really impressive. Worth a visit. Our main reason for visiting San Zeno was the Antique Market which normally runs on the first Sunday of the month but unfortunately for us doesn't take place in August. Just...More

€3 is very cheap to see the amazing interior including the crypt. The carvings on the door alone kept me interested for ages. It is located a 10 - 15 minute walk from the centre so a bit distant from the main attractions.

Nothing special and I would not recommend paying even the small fee of 3€ for entrance. No que but it is understandable if you enter.. if you have seen other churches in Europe then you have seen it all

This basilica is well worth a visit; there is a lot of interesting local history to it, in beautiful settings. They offer a free audio guide, which is helpful, but do remember to cover your shoulders!

The ticket to visit the Basilica is very reasonable and you can have an audio tour as you walk around which is fascinating; the Basilica is dedicated to the Saint of Verona and the month of May is dedicated to him. Worth the visit as...More

Finally gave up here and walk the last 3 km to get to the Basilica. The buses in verona are sometimes just not that clear as to where the route are going . But finally got there and stepped into a peaceful oasis. Beautiful, on...More

This is a must see in Verona. San Zeno is the "people's church" and supposedly Romeo and Juliet were married here. The bronze doors are phenomenal. Do not miss!

Hi, you can find the ticket at the entrance and this include other churches too. The audio is inside the church, but you will find someone there very helpful. The tour is less than 1 hour but it worth. Enjoy it :)

At the entrance of the 4 historical churches of Verona there is a basket where you will find some kimono that you can put over naked shoulders or wear if you are dressed with pants or skirt too short. This is a free service.
