The amount of artwork in this church is awe-inspiring. This is a must-see if you don't get to go inside St. Mark's. We downloaded the Rick Steves Audio Europe Travel App - Venice/Frari church. It helped explain the artwork and the significance behind it.

This church should not be missed. Although rather plain from the outside, the tombs, memorials, art works and architecture of the inside of this vast church are amazing.

Loved this church. Incredible art in situ. Titian, Donatello... interesting Cordova memorial. Almost didn't walk over here because of tired kiddos but awfully glad we did.

Enter this church being prepared to see a lot of marvelous things. A place to visit at your ease, slowly walking from one painting to the other, going upstairs along a gorgeous staircase. I suggest to look at the video at the ground floor BEFORE...More

We loved this church so much. Absolutely gorgeous interior, with artwork by Titian, Donatello, and others in the locations for which they'd been commissioned. Very quiet, no crowds. Well worth a visit!

There are so so many beautiful churches to see and go through in Venice, and we thought we would skip this one, but glad we didn't. It was just gorgeous. Would highly recommend.

Lovely art in a very old duomo. Still has services so check you visiting times. The wedding at Canan is worth the visit.

We stayed very near to the Basilica but unfortunately did not go into see it until the last moment. Well worth the quick visit, wish I had more time.

We hadn't originally planned on visiting this basilica but thought we'd kill some time whilst waiting for a mask workshop at the nearby Atelier Marega. So glad that we did as it is a beautifully gothic church. I prefer this basilica to St Mark's.

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six

markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
