The ground level arcades of the 13th century Palazzo dell Ragione are filled with food stalls – mainly butchers as far as I could see. The splendid gallery or loggia looks down over the market stalls on the piazza but to get up there involves...More

Have a look from the outside, that's enough. Stroll around the city, you have a lot to see. Venetkens exhibition took place when I was there. Interesting, but more for students. Also you can write your name and it prints a page with Venetkens letters...More

We didn't have the time to go inside, but even just from the outside, this building is impressive. There was a market that day on the plaza, which was fun to look at and good to shop a few regional foods.

What a complete waste of money that was! Yes, from the outside it looks very fine indeed, as it is. However, the hall is average in the extreme. Apparently, it was once the biggest hall in Italy.......... and??? You have a 500 year old wooden...More

Very impressive, monumental building that shows how people used to see the world and the influens of planets on it. You can also see The Foucault Pendulum. Free with the Padova card.

This hall was once the largest indoor space in Europe. It's decorated with an astonishing array of 333 pictures, and refreshingly, most of them aren't religious (after weeks of Madonnas, I was hungry for something else). The day I went, most of the hall was...More

The imposing Palazzo della Ragione towers over the markets that surround it. On its ground floor one finds an indoor market of butchers, fishmongers, cheese makers, and bakers. On the floor above is a cavernous hall, which is populated by a large wooden horse statue...More

We found the entry price to be too expensive for what was there. The things we wanted to see would be surrounded by modern art exhibits and it was more expensive than most of the things we had seen previously. The building itself is nice...More
