The frescos in this castle will give a fascinating everyday life of the wealthy and privileged of Middle Ages. Take the free shuttle from Walther Square. Well worth the time and effort.

Nice medieval fortress, with beautiful frescoes. It can be easily accessed from the city centre of Bolzano with the free shuttle. There are very few people actually using it, and in my case it went only with me. For the return trip, I asked at...More

Wonderful restoration and history. Quite a climb to the castle but worth every step. Amazing frescoes and ceilings. We were promised a shuttle back to Bolzano. When that failed our waiter from their cafe, Peter, saw that we were stranded and offered us a ride...More

The Pass for an adult is 38€. Do a google search and you can see the advantages. Ours came with the hotel but if you are in the area any length of time I think it is worth it.
