It claims to be one of the largest squares in Europe I think. It's got a main road running through it so not sure that counts. It hasn't got much charm in my opinion and I didn't feel the need to stop anywhere whenever I...More

Everyone loves Piazza Vittorio. Many caffes with great food and good deals. Aperitivi are everywhere just off the River Po. Easy to get to via trams. Great during day, in the evening or at night.

We had a meal outside on the Piazza and it was lovely. We had two Pizza,s one Salsiccia Grande Quattro Grande plus a salad and drinks. It came to €26. The food was fresh, good ingredients and very large portions. Worth the money.

This huge square is surrounded by marvellous buildings and architecture in particular the arched buildings leading up to Via Po. You get beautiful photo opportunities on a clear day of the hillside in the background and the square is not spoilt by lots of shops...More

Piazza Vittorio Veneto is the largest piazza in Turin. Even though it is big, it’s still walkable. No new buildings around giving it a very historic and beautiful setup. The nearby Po river adds an extra positive taste to it.

A very big square with plenty of cafes and excellent spots to take pictures. Very beautiful and very Italian. Just around the corner of our hotel. And right on the River Po. Glad we made the effort.

Honestly is an underwhelming piazza. I expected more tables outside and more restaurant choices really. There was an antiques market on sunday afternoon. Great location

Apart from being the biggest square of the city, you will like this square because of its romanticism. All of the buildings surrounding the square give you the feeling that you are still in the 18th Century. You should visit the Gran Madre, a church...More

Close to the river, the place is surrounded but 8 major residential buildings, linked by covered street crossings. Architecture with attention to symmetry.

instead of porta nuova, you can go to porta susa. then you take bus no. 56 or tram no. 13 and go straight to piazza Vittorio.
