Using videos and interactive technonology, this museum gives a substantial picture of life under Mussolini, and the resistance to the power at the time.

I really enjoyed the Museo Del Risorgimento, it collects a huge amount of interesting objects from the key period in the formation of today's Italy. However, if you don't have a solid knowledge of the period beforehand (and I was guilty of that!), you probably...More

The museum exhibits are plentiful but not varied and, as a non-Italian speaker, it is very difficult to follow the stories and themes. An audio guide would have helped a lot but not available. The staff are also quite unhelpful. The building it’s self is...More

Super interesting museum about the foundation of Italy. Great original artifacts. Very well divided by period. Very interesting for Italians or history buffs. Too detailed for children and teens i would say. It would have been great to have a guide or audio guide to...More

We were drawn into this museum because of a temporary photo exhibit advertised throughout the city but we had to go through a fairly dull historical perspective of Italian nationalism dating from the 18th century. Lots of rooms filled with documents, some displays and countless...More

Before my visit I ensured I got the meaning of the word Risorgimento right - unification. The time era covers history to the First World War. This museum is well suited to be in Turin; the city was the first Capital of the United Italy...More

I went to this museum excited to learn even more about this incredible period of time in Italian history (I am a tour guide in Italy, so I already have some background on the matter). Instead, I was confronted with thousands of incongruent objects, and...More
