A fun trip. Bus 61 or 68 or tram 15 (1.50 euro) to Saasi-Superga. Finucular (9 euro round trip) to the top, short walk to Basilica. Stunning views of Torino. From here there are walking paths that seem to go many km. The funicular returns...More

Not city center, it deserves planning as Superga is out of the city, on the top of the nearby mountain, but if time and weather allows it is worth the trip for the views and the walks in the surroundings. Visit to the church is...More

A beautiful cathedral, for architecture and location. You can climb the dome all the way to the top for an amazing view over the city. Best recommended to go at sunset, you won't be disappointed! If you have time also don't forget to walk behind...More

The Basilica itself is really nice and offers gorgeous views of the city. However, getting there is a hassle. Whether it's with the too expensive tram or with the non-punctual and badly explained bus system, getting up the hill is a hard task.

Just a little way outside the main heart of the tourist area at the end of Avenue Po, this large church is worth seeking out, although it's not one of the more impressive in the city. There is an elevator from the street level if...More

Took the 15 Tram from Castello (centre of Turin), You buy a €3 ticket pp (4 hours) from a tobacconist and you get off at Sassi-Superga stop, which is about a 20 minute journey. Just across the road is the Sassi station and you get...More

Definitely worth a visit. I did a tour of the crypt of the Kings while I was there which was very interesting, then went up to the top and had some great views

The Basilica di Superga is a lovely baroque basilica located atop a hill just outside of Turin. The hilltop location gave us gorgeous views overlooking the city. We took the cable car up and the church itself has a beautiful interior as well as an...More
