You are not allowed to go up at 3pm
Aug 2021
We sent one day in Turin in August 2021 and intended to visit this sight with the panoramic lift at around 2.30 pm. It closes at 7 or 8 pm. We were rejected by the staff who said it is not possible to go up that day any more, only the day after. We asked why, because it was the middle of the day but they did not explain.
We have been travelling for decades and it has not happened so far that a sight with opening hours until evening does not let visitors enter at 3pm. Quite shocking and unpredictable.

Not so amazing - queue under the sun
Aug 2021 • Couples
1.5 queue hours under the sun to see the Turin skyline, not so amazing after all.
That's not the best you can do in Turin.
You can avoid it.

Another stunning historic building in Turin.
Seen from most parts of the City.
Apparently began it's life as a synagogue.
It is unique.

Spectacular inside and out
Oct 2020
Not only is it a beautiful landmark seen from pretty much anywhere in Turin but it’s even more spectacular inside.

Stunning building in the centre of Torino
Jul 2020 • Solo
The Mole Antonelliana is a stunning structure in the heart of the city. The building takes its name from its creator Alessandro Antonelli. Construction of the building began in 1863 shortly after the unification of Italy. Completion was in 1889 after the death of Alessandro Antonelli. Initially the building was designed to be a synagogue and is now home to the National Museum of Cinema. It was somewhere that I have always wanted to see and I wasn't disappointed, I visited in July 2020 so I was unable to go inside due to Covid restrictions but at least I was able to get close enough to appreciate the immensity of the place.

When in Turin...
Dec 2019
If you have time, you should definitely visit and climb with glass elevator this amazing tower, and take a picture from the top.
Also there is cinema museum, but that is up to you and your time.
View from the top is simply amazing. But go when the sky is clear for better experience.

The symbol of Turin
Dec 2019
This grand building, built just after the Risorgimento and originally designed to be a synagogue (but it never was), rises high above most of the buildings in Turin. Nowadays, it houses the amazing National Museum of Cinema. You can go up to the top of the dome and contemplate the marvelous view that open - the whole city of Turin, its surrounding area and the Alps. You can use the lift or you can go on foot, climbing the stairs (not recommended though for obvious reasons) and you will need a ticket which can be combined with a visit to the cinema and you will save some euros. Although it was Christmas time, the line was not big but the roof was quite packed and we had to be patient to get the best photo-shoot spots.

Lovely lift ride
Feb 2020
Go if it is clear day and you get a good view of the city and the Alps. Not much room at the top so can be a bit crowded but the lift ride going up is interesting as you rise up through the roof
