I just love this place! You can have almost anything you want and at a reasonable price...it is basically a street food market, with almost every option you can imagine available. The atmosphere is really good as the tables are available wherever you find them....More

Stroll through many food stalls offering light snacks to a full hog roast meal. Following the eco theme of the Expo 2015 throughout Milan this summer, there are flowers and vegetables growing out of plastic bags in simple bins - all available to help yourself....More

A friend in Bergamo suggested we try the Mercato Metropolitano in Milan as an alternative to the sometimes higher-priced restaurants. It was a good recommendation. The Mercato is located in the greater Navgli District in the Porta Genova neighborhood just around the corner from the...More

I love Mercato Metropolitano and I love the concept itself. It is actually in a great location, close to the Navigli and I really love how it is organized. What i do not like is mainly referred to prices, that are everywhere too high. I...More

If only this were here forever, it's something Milan really needs. I have been a few times with the sole purpose of eating! I love how quirky it is,maybe a little over priced but the food is good, especially the melt in the mouth costata...More

The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient
days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar
to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the
Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are
two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande.
The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk
with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes
in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns
