This is well worth the time and funds to visit - if you can at all swing it, you should make a reservation to go up to the roof of the Milan Duomo cathedral. It's a beautiful, remarkable set of spaces - and the view...More

Lots of steps, but once you're up top...simply breathtaking. The fact that you are walking on the roof just blows your mind. It is very secure with lots of railings, so don't think it's like being on the roof of your house. Not recommended for...More

You will get fantastic views and great pictures (plus walk off a gelato if you take the stairs). It does get crowded and there is a restoration in process (so be prepared for photo bombs and scaffolding) but it's still worth it!

The Duomo in Milan, center of the city and a confection in ornately carved white marble....beautiful to look at from the outside, amazing structure from the inside, but, the best way of experiencing the building and Milan is to go to the top - and...More

We went there on a very hot July afternoon. We chose to use the elevator, which is a bit pricey, but it was worth it. The place was under construction and very crowded, but we enjoyed the views and the whole experience.

I already said it at my Duomo Milano review, you have to go up the Top of the Dome! You can walk up (about 200 steps) or take an elevator, it is worth the effort!

Beautiful terrace rooftop! Much to admire from up the terraces----the marble spires, the panoramic views not only of Milan, but also of the Alps and Apennine Mountains. Long line even with the skip-the-line ticket due to inefficient security checks.

I don't know what was more beautiful the spires of the Duomo as seen from the roof or the city of Milan. Its a must see.

It shows a great view of the city! Wear comfortable shoes as it can be slippery when wet and in general. There are 250 steps to get here, but you can also take the stairs for experience!

Architecture is amazing. Lots of stairs and uneven surface so must be able to handle that. Definitely worth seeing if you can do it.

The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square

to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria
Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high
quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch
expedition into a royal experience. Head to the

No i actually just bought it on the day. Next to The Duomo there is the ticket office and they have some machines that are easy and faster than waiting in line for the tickets :)
