It was beautiful! Professional, impressive, elegant and all the things you should and may expect when visiting this opera house. Watching the opera goers was almost as exciting as the opera itself (La Traviata). Things you should know: dress well, suit and tie not a...More

Having the chance to be there watching a balet is unique. The sounds, the scenary, the place, deep red colours, gold lights...nice people dressed fancy...it is breathless. To be not missed if you have a chance.

Only need to view from out side! No need to enter it! Waste of money. Only good thing was got to see the rehearsals of the opera from the balcony ... everything else was very poor.

Very beautiful theatre, luxurious, might be worth it to see a play or a concert there! We watched a rehearsal for a few minutes and it was beautiful!

The exterior of this Opera House is unimpressive, however, the interior will take your breath away. It has a rich history and is part of the free Walking Tour of the city.

Surely one of the premier opera houses in the world? Such a shame our two visits were ruined by the loutish behaviour of the members of the audience. People taking flash photos during the performance, video phones being used by all around us, incessant talking...More
