Despite the crowd wating to enter, visiting Duomo is not dificul,t but full of joy. Access and visit so well organised, everybody feels safe and happy to be there. A place giving you the feeling that you are closer to God.

You can buy directly there - I think it’s better - get the full ticket - it costs 17 euros and it allows you to walk all over it as well as the ground floor and rooftop. I’m not sure but you might pay some extra to go to the... More

yes, taking photos is allowed. make sure you try to go go the roof if the weather permits it. good luck and enjoy.
