If you're lucky enough to visit this city, please enter it from Ponte San Giorgio, the bridge leading to the castle with the same name. The view is pretty breathtaking, in any weather, and every time I go back and drive down, it still gets...More

The great panoramic view from the nearby lake should offer a splendid scenario to the whole skyline, Mantova it's a very nice city, small and easy to visit. One of the best medieval city in the country.

This is a wonderful, quirky and historic place to visit. Mantova will not let you down as it has a mix of everything shops, street markets, restaurants, cathedrals and castles to visit.

The view of the city walls and ducal palace as we were driving in was spectacular. My wife and I have traveled all over Italy and have never seen anything like it.

This is another place worth a visit if you are into medieval architecture. The place has a lovely feel to it, but still full of modern day bustle. Lots of little side streets, cafes and individual shops, with plenty of cafes along the way.

We enjoyed seeing the skyline from the far side of Lake Inferiore. It was simply beautiful and made better by witnessing my daughter get engaged there!

It is an easy 20 minute walk or bike ride from the Palazzo Ducale area along the causeway via Legnago (SP 10) to the other side of the lake for the classic skyline view of Mantua. Recommended.
