Palazzo Te is a very nice place to visit in Mantua/Mantova. There are many very fine rooms with old painted walls and ceilings.

The main feature of this palace are the ceilings! The room “the fall of the giants” is also very impressive and very unusual. Don’t miss the small apartment with its secret garden in the gardens.

The location outside was ruined through time. The palace could be kept in a better state. However if at Mantua a visit here is a must do.

It was a good historical place to visit there are a lot of different parts of the palace that you can visit including the museum during the Gyptian era. My favourite part was the sections where they display the old coins and the secret garden.

I don't know how anyone could give this place a bad review. It is a beautiful, Renaissance era palazzo. The paintings and adornments in the rooms are a delight to behold, even if they aren't painted by a Renaissance master. The rooms were just as...More

Although a walk from the centre of 20 minutes or so, it is well worth the effort. Gorgeous rooms and a peaceful setting although the gardens are very plain.

Hi! If you decide to take part to a visit with a guide (strongly advised), it would take about 2 hours / 2 hours and a half.
