Staff were lovely, we were happy there was no waiting but the price was very high (76E for 4) and whilst going up, we were hot and squeezed in the middle of a packed car so we couldn't see anything.

We had picked up a leaflet for this which helpfully had the scheduled times and enabled us to plan our visit. Dogs are allowed but you are required to have a muzzle and (are supposed to) use it. However, whilst we didn’t have one we...More

We spent half a day or so up the mountain. The service seems quite efficient and popular - definitely worth the trip for the magnificent views.

It doesn’t look like an impressive ride from the lake, but it is actually worth taking not just for the two cable cars, but more for the chair lift at the very top. Views were excellent and in hindsight we wish we would have taken...More

I have managed to do this beautiful ride twice even though I hate heights. On a clear day you can also see Lake Orta....as well as Lake Maggiore and the town of Stresa. Love it

This was so much fun! Rode the cable car and then the ski lift all the way to the top. Glad we brought a jacket because it was cool up on the mountain. Such beautiful views. Loved it!

I think if you get there around 1000 you should be ok but they seemed to give priority to cyclists. Personally I wouldn't wait for the last car but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't leave anybody up there. Weather forecast... More

Ok it's more than 300m but it only takes about 10 minutes to walk, probably more like half a K. It's certainly worth it though, great views.
