An amazing museum, always something to see (and re-see). Did you know it has a terrace that overlooks the entire city? On the 6th floor! In summer it has a caffe & live music

What a fantastic combo. A great Museum of Modern Art with an over the top mid 1800's Nobleman's Palazzo. Revoltella was fabulously wealthy and he spared no expense to make his home the grandest in town.

This museum has a nice selection of modern artwork, but it not so terribly big that you have to spend that many hours there. Not only is it a museum for artwork, it's also the previous mansion of Baron Revoltella so you also get to...More

The museum, the former home of Pasquale Revoltella, is a two part delight. It would be worth the price of admission for the house and contents alone, but the Gallery of Modern Art attached to it, is also worth spending an hour or two in....More

It's an excellent museum with good gallery. The house of Revoltella is also great. However, it's not so friendly for those who cannot understand Italian. So I suggest to put more English illustration.

This museum is magnificent. The art and furnishings are beautiful. Don't forget to read about the history of the man that donated all of this to Trieste and his contribution to the building of the Suez Canal.

This museum is really worth a visit on a trip to Trieste. It is a wonderful combination of modern and traditional. The building itself is beautiful and well maintained. It’s reasonably priced, offering cheaper rates for students and it’s a lovely calming experience with beautifully...More

Until today we had never heard about Pasquale Revoltella. We visited his mansion close to the harbour and learnt a lot about his life in the 19th century. He was involved in many important ventures such as the realisation of the Suez Canal and the...More
