Visited here with my partner in January, arrived at about 10 in the morning and had to wait about 10 minutes to get in (however I have also seen queues up to two hours in the afternoon). Entrance to the square and inside is free,...More

It’s free to get in but there are always long lines to get in. So either go early in the morning or book a tour. We booked a tour to Vatican Museum via the official Vatican website and it allowed us not only to skip...More

This is my second time visiting St.Peter’s Basilica, and it still made me gaze in awe at the structure and detail that’s contained inside. It is a definite must to go to the top of the dome to see the outstretching views over Rome. First...More

Just stunning! I visited the interior of the basilica during a previous trip and it is definitely worth lining up for it. However, my partner didn't want to stand in line for 2+ hours, so we didn't visit it on this trip. If you can't...More

We were in Rome for 3 days and though we'd save time by buying skip-the-line tickets. In hindsight, i'd rather get here early and wait in line, as skip-the-line in Rome merely means that you do not have to stand in line. It doesn't necessarily...More

I have read about it in books and have seen movies and pictures. But nothing compares to being there. We went for Sunday Mass and stood in the square for it which was nice. We got there early and had good views. After the Pope...More

The first thing to do is stand in the square and just gape at the size of this structure. You can do this if you are not planning on going inside at the time. Maybe do it when the Pope is at his window. To...More

Get there early to avoid the lines for security if you are not visiting the Vatican museum (you are able to enter St. Peter’s after you are done at the museum without waiting in line). If you go around 7:30-8am there is no line. Definitely...More

It’s free if you don’t pay for skip the line. I paid 30€ for a skip the line and saved me about 2-3hours if standing there so way worth it even if your on a budget
