We had on line tickets to The Vatican, the queues to St Peter’s were miles long , and the heat was unbelievable. We spent three hours in the Vatican and I sat down at the side of The Sistine Chapel. The guards push you through,...More

A truly beautiful basilica with many paintings and sculptures. It was a spiritual experience. The view from the top of the dome is spectacular! It’s challenging getting up there but once you’re there it’s breathtaking!

You don't have to be religious to enjoy this beautiful place. It is breathtaking in it's architecture, art and atmosphere regardless of beliefs. A lot of respect here, and as such it is required you dress appropriately. We had expected this and so dressed modestly,...More

The Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica are extraordinary. The Church, however, makes no effort to limit the throngs visiting. There was an hour wait with reservations. Minimum Two Hours if you don’t. (If you are claustrophobic don’t think about coming) Don’t ever come in August....More

Allow half a day, suggest booking with a tour guide to jump cues & be amazed with the lessons learnt. Would advise the earliest session, well worth it as it’s getting busy as your tour ends & it’s cooler. Flat footwear & shoulders & knees...More
