This is a small leather shop that makes wonderful bags of every kind and belts. The family that runs this store and makes the products are very informal and wonderful to work with. They are on Via dei Chiavari in Rome Italy. It is worth taking a look and, maybe, if you do not find what you are looking for, they may be able to make it for you.

I made a trip to this beautiful store after reading about it to treat myself to one special souvenir of my trip to Rome. Luckily I made my choice prior on their website or I would been spellbound by the beautiful assortment of bags. It’s classic yet modern with the softest leather. I have gotten a lot of compliments on the bag. I will return if I am ever in Rome.

Went based on great reviews and was looking for some leather bags and sandals. Walked in and there were no other customers. I agree with the other reviews - the quality and designs are great and more modern than some of the other leather goods places. However, the owner and the other person in the store glared at us the whole time. When I asked about a sandal they did nothing but tell me it was out of sizes and went right back to staring at us. Asked about a bag and they ignored me. I asked again and the woman heaved a big sigh and walked away. So I don’t know what it was about us that made them not want my money but hey, I’ll keep it to myself. Really disappointing.

We've visited Rome a number of times in recent years, and have been struck by the extent to which leather products are on offer, both in street-markets and in retail outlets of various sizes. Much of what we've seen has seemed quite attractive - the range of colours is particularly noticeable - but we've wondered about the actual quality of what's on offer, and, more particularly, how much of what you see is actually made in Italy, and by whom? This year, on our latest Trip to Rome, we were absolutely delighted to discover a Store/Shop where their wonderful range of products is handcrafted, from real leather, in a Family-run business established almost 50 years ago. It's called "Ibiz", and it's at 39 Via dei Chiavari, in the maze of little streets off Campo dei Fiori - it's a little hard to find, but it's well worth the search, for the quality of what they offer, as well as their friendly attentiveness to trying to respond to customers' needs. We were immediately impressed with what was on display - mainly well-designed Bags, but many other leather items besides. Now, if you too are impressed with what "Ibiz" offers, you have two options : (i) you can purchase something you see on display, or (ii) if time allows, you can order one of their products in a different colour, which will be available within 3 days. Fortunately, we were staying locally for a few days, so we ordered two Bags in different colours, and, not to our surprise, they were both delivered on time, and to our total satisfaction. We would have to say we got the added enjoyment of coming to collect our bespoke items - we added a small Purse to our little collection on the day, and appreciated the careful, tasteful manner in which our purchases were wrapped. A further bonus for us was that we dealt with Elisa, who is the Daughter of the Founders of this impressive business : she was warmly receptive, attentive and totally helpful - without being "pushy", which is something we detest. What can we add, other than to say that the Prices we paid for our highest-quality items were extremely reasonable, and that we totally recommend this Outlet. Grazie mille from us to Elisa and her colleagues at "Ibiz" !

This was a find! It’s a small family leather shop. The owner/manufacturer is right on site. I was looking for a very specific style of wallet, which I did buy. The leather is beautiful. Highly recommend. Btw they are closed on Sunday.
