This bridge crosses the River Tiber just downstream from Ponte Sant’Angelo and provides a great location for photos of that bridge and the Castle. It is a very ornate, 3 arch bridge lined with large bronzed victory statues at either end and over the piers...More

This bridge on the way to the Vatican is lined with statues. It offers a nice view of Ponte St Angelo and the Castel from here.

We crossed this lovely bridge to enter Vatican City. We stopped off several times to take photos of the river and the other bridge. Very busy but a lovely entrance to the city.

This bridge is good for both pedestrians and vehicles and give you access to the Vatican and to Castel st Angelo. Not as majestic as Ponte Sant Angelo, but close enough.

This bridge is located southwest of Castel Sant’Angelo and affords fantastic views of both the Castel and of Ponte Sant’Angelo.

This is a beautiful bridge although not as old as several other bridges in Rome (inaugurated 1911). Look especially at the statues along side the bridge.
