Situated between Altair della Patria and Augustus' Forum, the view into Caesar's Forum is yet another opportunity to see into the history of ancient Rome. With remnants of building and columns standing in the relatively recently excavated forum, it's definitely worth stopping by when you're...More

Great little site to view while walking from Colosseum to the Vittorio Emmanuelle monument. You really can't access any of the site, however it is visible from Via dei Fori Imperiali and you can take several photos of it while passing by.

When in this place it made feel like i was back in the ancient time. I felt as we went along the pave way in Via del Fori Imperiali. It is an amazing fact that we still see this evidences from the time B.C. I...More

The forum is not one of the most spectacular parts of Rome but such an integral part of history. Get a guide if you can to bring this alive for you.

You will also have to be content with an overlook because, at least on this day, it is not possible to walk through. The upside is that the space is quite open and one can get a decent panorama. We walked out of the main...More

In my opinion Fori Di Cesare is best viewed from the road side were you can imagine the sheer might and power of Rome in its hay day. The architectural ruins are intriguing to view and coupled with the Colosseum and Forum are just breathtaking...More

Went on the "free day" and thoroughly the walk through the Fori Imperiali which includes Carsar's Forum. No map or information was supplied but we could recognise some of the structures. Of course the beautiful flowers growing everywhere made it more beautiful :)

This is NOT the forum next to the colosseum. It is by Trajens column. It is across from the Foro di Augustus. They were connected until a road was put in. They both offer a nightly multi media show that shouldn't be missed. You can...More

One of the later forums, as shown in the photos at the moment, is possible to visit with a guide. These forums are not much explored

The website says the shows resume April 21. Since it's all outdoors, it makes sense they'd shut down for the winter. Consider visiting the nearby Mercati di Traiano Museo dei Fori Imperiali, which has exhibits about each... More
