This small piazza della Minerva is very close to the Pantheon. Here is the elephant statue by Bernini and the Minerva obelisk on his back and the church Santa Maria sopra Minerva. Do visit it on the way to Pantheon.

Piazza della Minerva is a lovely public square, but the thing that gives it character is the obelisk with the elephant at its base. This work was carried out by the famous Bernini.
