It is a very nice area to wander around but admire the facilities and the high value sailing ships. Its quite a steep walk back into the town centre. Buses and funicular lift can make it easy.

With Mount Versuvius in the distance the view from this bustling marina is classic. The harbour is busy with fishing boats yet the small volcanic sand beach is safe for children and an excellent location to relax. The Marina is lined with superb seafood restaurants...More

A beautiful place to watch the fishermen, eat great food, have drinks, watch the sunset. Perfection! My favourite part of Sorrento. Totally charming (and away from all that awful Sorrento traffic!)

This is a lovely old fashioned harbour with lovely little cafes and restraunt do not go via your hotel to the restaraunt on the pier very expensive and nothing special however the harbour it's self is worth a cost just for the somatic views

We ventured over to Marina Grande for the purpose of going to Ristorante Bagni Delfino. It's a colorful area right on the water with a few restaurants. Loved the view! Highly recommend!

We went on a day trip from our cruise ship with the guide walking us into town and directing us to the lift down to the middle 'beach'. We looked down to the so called beach, it wasn't appealing so we wandered not very far...More
