I intend to return in the months when the chateau is open. We had a wonderful two hours walking the gardens. Interesting to note how many people were having tea and cakes when we arrived in the mid-afternoon; a very nice touch. Quite a variety...More

Entering through the shop, we followed the English guide we were given around the gardens from Orangery to woods, mirror pool, chinese pagoda and Chartreuse Garden (9 linked walled garden rooms which, as fantastic sun traps, were a riot of colour and variety of plants)....More

A little out of the way but well worth the detour to see the gardens (and the house if you are so inclined - we weren't). They gardens were in full bloom and were glorious.

This is a delightful small chateau without great pretensions but offering many delightful elements that make a visit really worthwhile. Certainly this is not a huge chateau with endless gardens but that is part of its charm, that it reflects the style and taste of...More

We visited these gardens on a family outing whilst on holiday in the region. It was €7 per adult, (young children were free), to enter and we spent all afternoon wandering around the beautiful and tranquil gardens. Starting off from behind the entrance gate and...More

These are not the usual 'formal' gardens you expect of a French chateau but non the less worth a visit to stroll around. The reception also serves tea/coffee and biscuits to enjoy out on the front lawn. The path takes you around the estate alongside...More
